Join the 3 week experience to take time to be present with yourself, present with the flowers in your yard, and really embrace the gifts that nature and your quiet inner space have to share with you. 

In this journey you will explore living, thinking, and acting without checking your phone constantly, without having 10 tabs open on your computer, without running through the list of everything you have to do that keeps you from taking 10 minutes to relax and enjoy just being in the space where you live! 

What if you took the next 3 weeks to honor yourself, to carve out self-care daily in nature, and to connect your needs?

This last year has been an intense time. Full of uncertainties and unexpected turn-of-events.

Not to mention whatever was actually happening in your life before.

This journey with your soul and the elements of nature will get you rooted in a stable place.


Nature is a stable foundation, time after time.

Last April, early into quarantine, the kids were crying, the internet people were fighting, and I was debating getting pizza for the 3rd time that week!

I took both kids outside to play, while I lay down on my porch. I looked up. The sky was pulsing bright blue. Sunlight bounced on the fluttering leaves.

As I lay there, I felt calm and peace start to settle in. I looked at the oak and sweet gum trees in my yard. A slight breeze rustled the leaves.


“These trees have sustained and survived through storms,” I thought. You can sustain too.


You are faced with making decisions with limited info and an unknown future. Its a little stress-inducing! Then there’s work, family, learning/working for anti-racism, eating health-ish foods, and life goals.

Even though this time is unprecedented, your response to it could be one that takes you from a place of getting by or just-barely-not-drowning-feeling to rooted, growing, and blooming.

It’s possible and you can get there. Its not selfish or privileged to thrive during this time- you can be a better force in the world if you are coming from a whole place- seriously, you’re not being a change-maker or living your best life if you feel hopeless or that .

Plants can produce flowers or fruits, but not if they don’t receive the nutrients & support they need.

3 Themes of the Nourish Experience.

You chose as you goes through it, how in-depth to go with each theme. Each week will have a new theme.

1. Roots in the Ground. 

Get rooted, get used to slowing down and being present. Practice the art of noticing. Become acclimated in your space.  

2. Leaf. 

Leaves feed plants and leaves feed us (yeah, green salads, smoothies, and pass the pesto!). You will learn about strength and power from leaves.

3. Flower/fruit. 

Flowers & fruits are beauty & self-expression. You delve into flowers to explore beauty, gratitude, and happiness.

Many folks who spend time outdoors focus on the time out there exercising, working in your garden, etc, but this course focuses on taking the time to sit, notice, and enjoy the outdoors. 

Nourish Your Soul with Nature will be delivered within your email and you can have the choice to participate in Marco Polo app to connect with me. You will also receive emails and be invited to attend a live virtual Zoom call.

In this program, you will take a daily practice of being present in the outside and observing nature. You will be invited to doodle nature shapes, write words about how the time makes you feel and list all the leaf shapes you see. You will identify the patterns that you notice in your garden space and in yourself.

What if I don’t have an outdoor space? 
You are welcome to join. As long as you have a place where you can see nature enough to engage with it and observe nature, you can participate. This includes houseplants, a balcony, or a front stoop.


Are you going to teach me how to grow veggies, herbs, or flowers? 
That’s not the focus of this experience. We will have a live call every week and I will answer any growing/cultivation questions that you have, however I won’t be sharing in-depth growing guidance for this course. I have a free gardening class that I am happy to share with you to get you started and I offer more in-depth instruction on how to have an organic gardening in other settings. 

Do I have to share or be on any the live calls?

You are encouraged to share and connect with Rachel, either via email or the Marco Polo, but it is not mandatory. For many people, sharing their experiences and engaging with others is a part of the reflection and transformation process. I honor you knowing what you need right now and doing that.
